A Collision of Physics, Chemistry and Robotics – A Science Educator

BTW identified the physics, chemistry, and robotics teacher as its highest priority for Foundation funding this year. Proposed staffing cuts would have increased the student-teacher ratio to 35:1. BTW science classrooms were designed for a 24:1 student-teacher ratio. Because of the special space and equipment requirements in science classrooms, larger class sizes create untenable education environments. Investing in Our Teachers enables BTW to maintain a 25:1 student-faculty ratio in science.

Invest in the Booker T. Washington Foundation for Excellence to fund a science educator. Invest in more than just the position itself. Invest in a mentor who will help generate the dynamic, thought-provoking collisions that happen in the minds of our young adults through the understanding of physics and robotics.
